Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded anywhere?
No. Merging happens in your browser, your documents are not uploaded anywhere beyond your device. It is also safe for private documents such as contracts or IDs.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Password-protected PDF files cannot be opened. Remove the password and save the file first, then try again.
Can I change the page order?
You can change the order of the files by dragging the cards or with the ◀ ▶ buttons. To reorder single pages you first need to split the file.
Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
Yes. On the web you can merge up to 5 PDFs, 100 pages and 10 MB in total at a time. Whichever fills first applies. For more, our app is coming soon.
